Chihong Zinc and Luoping Zinc 002114.SZ will resume full production this week after snow-related power shortages slowed operations in Yunnan province, company officials said on Monday.

Snowstorms hit Yunnan province two weeks ago and damaged power networks in Qujing city, forcing power-intensive zinc and aluminium smelters to cut production.

Repairs to the network in Qujing have nearly been completed, a board official at Chihong said.

"We will be resuming full production this week," the board official said. "We are going to issue a statement on the resumption in two days."
