China Petroleum & Chemical Corp., the nation's largest oil refiner, said it has sent 63,500 metric tons of emergency fuel supplies to Sichuan and Chongqing after last week's earthquake in the country's southwest.

Sinopec, as China Petroleum is known, has limited supplies to Hunan, Hubei and Guangdong provinces to give priority to quake-hit areas, parent China Petrochemical Corp. said in its company newsletter Sinopecnews.

The company's retail outlets in Sichuan and Chongqing have removed limits on the amount of fuel sold to customers, it said.
