Zhaojin Mining Industry Co. (1818.HK) said Wednesday its unit, Heilongjiang Zhaojin Mining Co., has obtained new exploration licenses from the Ministry of Land and Resources.

The Chinese gold miner said in a statement Heilongjiang Zhaojin has exploration rights over four mining areas with a total of 300 square kilometers in China's northeastern Heilongjiang province.

Zhaojin Mining said it will be able to get the mining rights once reserves are ascertained during the exploration process, the statement said.
