Datong Coal to Sell Shares for Assets Worth Up to $365 Million

    Datong Coal Industry Co., a unit of China's second-largest producer of the fuel, plans to sell shares to its controlling shareholder in exchange for a coal mine and a coal washing factory valued at as much as 2.5 billion yuan ($365 million).


    The Shanxi province-based company will sell as many as 120 million shares at 22.08 yuan each to Datong Coal Mine Group, according to a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange today.
