Yunnan Chihong Zinc Says Operations Not Affected by Earthquake

Yunnan Chihong Zinc & Germanium Co. China's fifth-biggest producer of zinc, said it was not affected by the Aug. 30 earthquake in Sichuan province.

No injuries or economic losses were reported, and operations are running normally, the Qujing-based company said in a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange today.
