China National Coal Group (CNCG), a big stated-owned coal enterprise in China, produced 76.028 million tons of coal in the first eight months of this year, up 9.1 percent year on year.

    It sold 68.523 million tons in the first eight months of this year, up 10.5 percent, including 57.263 million tons sold on domestic market, up 19.4 percent.

    The sales revenue increased 48.1 percent to 54.23 billion yuan,with a total profit of 8.66 billion yuan, up 74.8 percent year onyear.

    China Coal Energy Co., Ltd. (601898.SH), controlled by CNCG, realized coal output of 66.566 million tons, up 10 percent, and coke output increased 33.7 percent to 2.861 million tons. It manufactured 10,641 units of coal machine in the period.

    China Coal Energy's trade volume amounted to 60.212 million tons, up 9.1 percent. Included were 11.13 million tons for export and 49.061 million tons for domestic market, up 19.4 percent.
