Handan steel releases EXW prices

Hebei based Handan Steel announces its latest EXW prices for some steel products.

As per report Handan raised prices by CNY 30 per tonne for wire rod and CNY 70 per tonne for rebar and round steel, on the basis of August settlement price for construction steel published by Hebei Iron % Steel Group.

Latest price stands at CNY 5130 per tonne for 6.5mm high speed wire rod and CNY 5200 per tonne for HRB335 16mm to 25mm rebar.

In the meanwhile prices for common carbon medium plate and shipbuilding plate are kept firm.

Q235B 8mm medium plate is offered at CNY 6380 per tonne; Q235B 14mm to 25mm medium plate at CNY 5900 per tonne, CCSA 20mm shipbuilding plate at CNY 7145 per tonne.

Prices listed above are INCLUSIVE of 17% VAT, effective as of September 8th.
