It is reported that Sichuan Dazhou Iron & Steel Co Ltd lately became one of the first licensed enterprises to make quake-proof rebar, the only one located in West China and capable of making all the three series HRB 335E, HRB 400E and HRB 500E.

    As per report, the company's newly developed antiknock rebar was proved with better quality than the national standard requires according to test result of the industrial production permit office.

    Dazhou Steel set to develop this steel variety soon after the May 12 quake and finally realized the target of making it within a month.
