Hebei Steel opens Hong Kong branch

Hebei Iron and Steel (Hong Kong) International Trade Co Ltd was officially inaugurated, marking a big step towards the group's aggressive overseas development strategy after Hebei Steel reached a raft of long-term purchase contracts with leading foreign iron ore suppliers such as Rio Tinto, BHP, FMG, Vale and Kumba.

The group wanted to develop the new branch into a trade center and commercial model of its overseas businesses.
