Based on petroleum industry center to build up top one fair in Asia
Dongying will Embrace a Grand Exhibition on China Petroleum Equipment in September, 2008

China International Petroleum Equipment & Technology Exhibition 2008 (CIPEE2008), the only fair in this industry held at oilfield in China will begin from 12-14th September in Dongying, Shandong Province. Nowadays, sponsors of CIPEE ¨CShandong Sub-council of CCPIT, Shandong Chamber of Commerce for Petroleum Equipment and Beijing CEW International Fair Co., Ltd convened a press conference on the marketing of CIPEE in Beijing.

Government officials from National Energy Department, counselors or other governors from commercial council of embassies of a number of countries, representatives of foreign business associations located in China and domestic top petroleum equipment companies attended the conference. Over 50 mass and important petroleum industry media conducted a detailed and in-depth report.

The display space of CIPEE 2008 will exceed 30,000 m2. It is predicted that more than 500 top petroleum equipment business in China and abroad and 12,000 global purchasers of which 6000 are from abroad will participate in this grand event.

Based on Industrial Base to Fill Up the Blank of Domestic Market  
In International Petroleum Equipment Industry, exhibition is always combined with concerned industrial base. As the only petroleum equipment fair held at oilfield, CIPEE will supplement the domestic market by integrating producers, products, purchasers and production spot. Dongying has geographical advantage, perfect infrastructure facilities, the second largest Oilfield Shengli in China and top one university on petroleum-China Petroleum University. With the large petroleum industry system and strong research capacity, Dongying has shaped itself to form a petroleum and petrochemical production system with mature supporting facilities. It has already become one of the most important petroleum equipment production clusters in China.

Therefore, the purchasers could not only see the practical products, instead of the pictures or models, especially those oversize petroleum equipment that are difficult for transporting, but can visit the production enterprise conveniently to directly know the general condition of local producers like the equipment, processing capacity and the technology. They even have the chance to see how the petroleum equipments are utilized at Shengli Oilfield on the spot .

Catching Eyes of World Petroleum Industry
To keep pace with the trend of internationalizing domestic petroleum equipment industry, internationalization is the basic orientation of CIPEE. Besides cooperating with more than 1oo international important petroleum media, the organizing committee is going afar to participate in 13 world top petroleum equipment fair to directly communicate with important petroleum equipment producers and purchasers. In December 2007, CIPEE has successfully convened its first press conference in Dubai, the capital of United Arab Emirates. In 2008, CIPEE will continue to join in OTC in Houston America, World Petroleum Congress in Spain, Moscow International Oil & Gas Exhibition in Russia and so on, either rent stands or host press conference and send out three hundred thousand brochures to expand its world-wide recognition.
 
CIPEE has also maintained close cooperation with commercial council of embassies, chambers of commerce and trade promotion associations to attract displaying or visiting groups. It is predicted that more than 30% of CIPEE¡¯s exhibitors and 1/3 of visitors come from abroad. 

Trade Platform Welcomed by Home & Abroad Companies
CIPEE2008 has been dangled after by a number of top petroleum equipment business in China and abroad soon after the beginning of marketing. For only three months, 20,000sq.m have been rented by some 100 companies, including China International Petroleum Corparation, Sinotruck Group, The Second Petroleum Machinery Plant of Nanyang, Baoji Petro and other giants. In addition, China Equipment Management Association, Wenzhou Valve Production Base and Hebei Pipeline Production Base will organize groups to participate.

Furthermore, corporations from USA, Russian, Saudi Arabia, Norway and Denmark also expressed great interest and desire to join in CIPEE.

Rich Supporting Activities to Lead the Industry 
The organizing committee will hold China International Conference on Oil & Gas, which will last for two days in the corresponding period of CIPEE. The leitmotiv of the conference is to probe into the development of oil and gas industry and petroleum equipment trade, expound Chinese market and introduce top-notch technology. As a part of CIPEE, this conference will be a historic grand event. In addition, some other activities like academic seminar, technology forum and purchasing fair will be arranged to facilitate technology renovation and development of petroleum equipment.

To Be the Largest Petroleum Equipment Exhibition in Asia in 3 Years
Based on the Dongying industrial competiveness and positive response of the related enterprises, the determination of the organizing committee to build up CIPEE as the largest scale fair in Asia in three years has been enhanced. Up to now, the first session of CIPEE has already been the second largest fair in domestic petroleum equipment industry in China. Under the circumstance of fast development after petroleum industry renovation and with the completion of new hall of Dongying International Trade Centre, CIPEE 2009 will achieve a breakthrough in exhibition space that will reach 60,000 sq.m. and stand equally with world top fair in the same industry. CIPEE and the fast developing Dongying Petroleum Equipment Production Base will both become a new rising and unneglectable force in the world petroleum equipment trade.

Dongying in September will welcome the grand pageant for the world petroleum equipment industry.
