McVicar Resources Inc. is a Canadian mineral resources company that is actively involved in the acquisition, exploration and development of precious and base metal properties, in China and Canada. The company was incorporated in February 2003 from the dividend out portion of McVicar Minerals Ltd. Which was merged with a Chinese landscaping company Hanfeng Evergreen Inc. (TSX-V HF).

In Sept. 2003, McVicar acquired the minerals interest of Uphill Resources Corp. in the Hulugou property. In which, Uphill can earn 55% interest by investing US$3 million in three years, by issuing 4.6 million treasury shares. McVicar also inherited a 50% interest in a Canadian property, Kasagiminnis gold property, from McVicar Minerals Ltd.

Based on the current assets and exploration program, McVicar applied for a listing in the TSX Venture Exchange at the end of December 2003. On April 19, 2004, McVicar was successfully approved for listing as a tier one public company at the TSX Venture Exchange raising around $3 million net proceeds.

The Company is now actively engaging in the first stage exploration program in China. Initial results are expected to come out soon.
