The Nibao Gold deposit is located 300 kilometres southwest of Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province and lies within Pu 'An and Xingren Counties, in Qianxinan Prefecture. The Qianxinan Prefecture has recently been officially awarded the distinction of "Gold Prefecture of the whole of China" because of the dramatic increase in gold production from major and small gold mines.

Nibao is proximal to road, rail and power network. From Nibao, there is only one hour travel to the Xingyi airport which has everyday flights to the capital Guiyang. A paved highway connects the project with the county town of Pu' An, about 66 kilometres north, and other roads connect with Xingyi (Qianxinan Prefecture capital) and Xingren, 30 kilometres south and east respectively.

Golden China currently owns 70% of the entire Nibao mineral system with the option of increasing to 84% upon delivery of a feasibility study. Golden China has commenced the process of applying for an Exploration Permit along the southern boundary of the existing Nibao Exploration Licence and is applying for a Mining Lease to cover the drill tested mineralization on the property.
