Chinalco ink acquisition agreement with China Nonferrous

Shihua Financial Information reported that Aluminum Corporation of China has signed acquisition agreement with its listed subsidiary Aluminum Corporation of China Limited and China Nonferrous Metals Processing Technology Company Limited. Total values of the purchase add up to CNY 4.175 billion.


As per the agreement, Chinalco would transfer its 100% stake in Lanzhou Liancheng Aluminum Industrial Company Limited and 100% share in Southwest Aluminum Company Limited, 71.01% stake in Chalco Henan Branch, 75% stake in Chinalco Ruimin Company Limited, 60% stake in Chalco Southwest Company Limited and 56.86% stake in Huaxi Aluminum Company Limited to its listed subsidiary Chalco; while CNPT transfer its 13.01% stake in Chalco Henan Branch to Chalco.


The report added that Chalco should pay for the purchase in five days after the agreement. In specific, CNY 4.052 will be paid to Chinalco and CNY 123 million to CNPT.
