Gold price higher in Hong Kong -- June 13

     HONG KONG, June 13 -- The gold price in Hong Kong went up 43 HK dollars to 8,138 HK dollars per tael on Friday, according to the Bank of China (Hong Kong).

     The price is equivalent to 875.23 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 3.9 U.S. dollars at Friday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.805 HK dollars.
