Umicore spends $10 mln on India zinc company

Belgian metals and speciality materials maker Umicore will spend $10 million to buy and make investments in Anandeya Zinc Oxides Private Limited in India, it said on Wednesday.

"The transaction is subject to certain standard closing conditions and is expected to be completed by early August," Umicore said in a statement on its website.
