China June coal exports up 79% vs May

China exported 6.99 million tonnes of coal in June, a rise of 79 per cent from May, a government source said on Wednesday.

China, the world's largest coal producer and consumer, exported 25.49 million tonnes in the first half of the year, according to official figures.
