Buffalo Gold Ltd., the gold producer with projects in Australia and New Guinea, extended an accord to sell metal from the Furtei mine in Sardinia to MRI Trading AG.

MRI will take all the copper and gold from the mine, Vancouver-based Buffalo said today in an e-mailed statement. Buffalo previously agreed to sell to MRI this year as much as 5,000 metric tons of gold and copper concentrate, a raw material shipped to smelters, and as much as 14,500 tons next year.

The new agreement terms are ``more favorable'' than the previous ones, the company said without elaborating.
