China's product oil imported via Xiamen port soars

     China's import of product oil via  Xiamen Port in Fujian Province reached 328, 000 tons in the first half of this year, skyrocketing by 87.5 times year on year.


     The product oil was valued at 340 million US dollars, up 89 times, according to Xiamen Customs statistics.


     Included were 111, 000 tons imported in June, up 81.8 times, accounting for 33.9 percent of the total in the first half of the year.


     The increase of imported product oil through general trade is quite eye-catching.


     Statistics show that the imported oil through general trade reached 318, 000 tons in the first half, up 209.8 times, taking up for 97.1 percent of the total imported via Xiamen Port.


     The imported product oil by way of in and out of China via bonded warehouse came to 10, 000 tons, up 350 percent.


     Product oil imported via Xiamen Port includes light diesel oil, motor gasoline, aviation fuel as well as No. 5 – 7 fuel oil.


     They are imported from the Republic of Korea (ROK) and China's Taiwan.
