Kingsgate Says Gold Production May Increase as Much as 89%

    Kingsgate Consolidated Ltd., owner of Thailand's biggest gold mine, said output may increase as much as 89 percent in fiscal 2009 depending on when mining approvals are given.


    Production will be between 100,000 ounces and 140,000 ounces in the year ending June 2009, the company said in a statement to the Australian stock exchange. That compares with 74,137 ounces a year earlier, it said.
