It is reported that in July, export volume for thin HR coil, thin and wide HR strip and thick and wide HR strip is 87,300 tonnes, 175,700 tonnes and 1,224,500 tonnes respectively, totaling 1,487,500 tonnes up by 48.05% MoM. The above mentioned HR steel export volume accounts for 20.64% of total exports in July.

    Among others, thick and wide HR strip account for the largest proportion and it has hit record high again on monthly export tonnage since this May. Its tonnage for July shipment jumped up by 54.9% MoM and 85.05% YoY.

    The proportion thick and wide HR strips to total Chinese steel exports rise to 16.99%, setting a new high. Its average daily export tonnages increase to 39500 tonnes up by 18200 tonnes from the same period of last year or a rise of 85.55% YoY.

    Export volume for alloyed thick and wide HR strip also surged. In July, tonnages jumped by 18.96% MoM to 389,000 tonnes which compares with 500mt in the same period of last year.
