Chinese HRC export prices further decrease

    It is reported that Chinese HRC export prices are still on the decrease on drop in both domestic and overseas market.


    Domestic prices started to go down again this week. On Shanghai market, commercial 4.75mm to 12mm*1500mm HRC goes at CNY 4880 per tonne down by CNY 170 per tonne from last Friday. That for commodity grade 2.75mm HRC slip by another CNY 230 per tonne to CNY 5270 per tonne.


    Export quotations for Q235 or SS400 HRC are prevailing at USD 800 per tonne to USD 820 per tonne FOB down USD 20 per tonne to USD 30 per tonne from early last week. A North China based steel maker is said to have concluded business at around USD 790 per tonne FOB.
