China Refined Copper Imports Decline 1% in August, Customs Says

    Refined copper imports by China, the world's largest consumer of the metal, declined 1 percent in August from the previous month, customs office data showed.


    China imported 87,168 metric tons of the metal last month, the Beijing-based customs office said, citing revised final data. Imports were 88,075 tons in July, according to customs data.
