Energy saving reduces costs at Yima coal mine

Updated: 2016-07-25 09:20

A series of energy-saving measures have helped a coal mine in the village of Changcun in Sanmenxia's Yima county reduce costs, as part of the mine's strategy to be more economical and therefore more efficient.

The savings have been made in conjunction with recycling and repair work.

Yima Coal Industry Group is a large State-owned coal company with 16 mining sites across Henan, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia. The company has been awarded as China's Meritorious Enterprise for energy-saving and emission reduction and was listed among the most influential enterprises in Henan province.
