China is expected to adjust policy for steel product export which rebounded in July, according to Guangzhou Metal Exchange Center.

Statistics showed that China's steel product export volume in July increased 1.99 million tons from June to reach the record 7.21 million tons, up 21.38 percent year on year.

The Chinese government may adopt measures to further control the growing export of steel products driven by widening price gap between China and abroad, said China Iron & Steel Association recently.

As the ratio of alloy steel product export in the total steel product export went up on-year 15.32 percentage points to 21.74 percent in the first half year, the export tax rebate for alloy products is likely to be canceled and 15 percent of export tariff tobe levied on long alloy products, predicated some analysts from thesteel industry.
