Korab Resources Establishes Permanent Presence in Beijing, China

Korab Resources (ASX: KOR) confirmed today that it has opened an office in Beijing, China following a visit to that country by the Company's Executive Chairman, Andrej CK Karpinski.

In August 2006, Korab Resources Ltd was invited to participate as an exhibitor in the China Mining 2006 Conference which was to be held in Beijing in November.

The Company has accepted this invitation and has sent a delegation to China to participate in the conference and to establish closer links with Chinese mining and metals groups.

The conference was attended by over 2,500 delegates from China and overseas including representatives from all major mining and metals companies based in China. Several hundred of the delegates have visited Korab's stand during the conference and have shown considerable interest in Company's projects and our long term plans.

Following the conference, Korab Resources has decided to establish permanent presence in China and has opened an office in Beijing.

Mr. Karpinski confirmed that Korab has begun early stage discussions with Chinese metals groups regarding potential partnership which would provide long term benefits to both sides but he went on to point out that the discussions are at an early stage.

"I don't want our investors to get all excited when there is still a long way to go before any deal can be consummated" - he said.
