China's import of crude oil in May 2008

China imported 16,200,000 tons of crude oil valued at 12,077.385 million US dollars in May 2008. The import in January-May reached 75,970,000 tons valued at 52,412.095 million US dollars, up 12.7 percent and 84.9 percent respectively year on year.
