China's import of scrape aluminium in August 2008

China imported 180,000 tons of scrape alunimium valued at 255.698 million US dollars in August 2008. The import in January-August reached 1,450,000 tons valued at 1,748.857 million US dollars, down 3.9 percent and up 15.5 percent respectively year on year.
